ABS Motorsport are based in Lincolnshire. We have been designing and manufacturing composite panels for road, race and rally for 32 years. We pride ourselves in listening to our customer ideas and dreams, turning them into reality whilst remaining within the boundaries set by the governing body of the championship. Having been involved since 2006 in the British Touring Car Championship which is the top “tintop” series in the U.K. and is run by TOCA we have worked with clients and partners on different regulations and have designed many race winning cars since. In 2018 we were delighted when EXCELR8 asked us to partner them in designing an aerodynamic package and the partnership soon grew to supply them in their BTCC campaign with the MG6. As partners ABS Motorsport and EXCELR8 have worked closely together to design and engineer a standard Hyundai i30N fastback road car into the race car that arrived on track at the start of the 2020 BTCC season. It is a great partnership which won the first race of the hybrid era and the first BTCC championship of the hybrid era in 2022 with Tom Ingram driving the car. As partners of EXCELR8 we have been privileged to enjoy time in their hospitality suite which is a great experience and an asset to be able to attend with clients.
