EXCELR8 Announce their next Revolution in Racing

EXCELR8 Motorsport is proud to announce its partnership with Revolution Race Cars as it embarks on a new project with the Peterborough based company.

After taking delivery of its first of 4 planned Revolution A-Ones, EXCELR8 will be offering both Arrive and Drive services and Owner Driver support in the Prototype Cup.

Matching LMP technologies, the A-One combines cutting edge technologies with affordability. Utilising a innovative carbon tub and two-seater design, the car is the brain-child of Radical Sportscar co-founder Phil Abbott, who was instrumental in selling over 2000 cars to track drivers internationally.

Designed primarily with the racers’ desires in mind, high control and a smooth drive can be ensured thanks to the industry experts that have crafted the A-One from composites to machining, presenting a personal service. Aerodynamic developments have been made after extensive groundwork with TotalSim, delivering more downforce than any other rival in its price bracket while maintaining a stable centre of aero pressure, aiding the drivers handling.

Using Finite Element Analysis (F.E.A.) and testing tools previously only used in Formula 1 and elite level 24-hour racing, load safety has been a primary concern in a car that weighs under 800kg.

Powered by a Ford V6 3.7, this high-end engine produces 380bhp, feeding into the car’s unique exhaust system. The Multi-plate clutch and 6 speed paddle shift gearbox is produced by 3MO, who have experience in the World Rally Championship, featuring a bespoke casing. All this work ensures that the A-One is ideal for amateur and professionals alike.

EXCELR8 themselves have had a plethora of experience with Driver Support in the BTCC, MINI CHALLENGE, TCR, Britcar, 24 Hour Series and test and trackdays. Offering the services of professional engineers for pre-race and race weekend support, damage repairs and standalone testing, EXCELR8 has an extensive history of supporting drivers.

Looking to extend their services into the new year, Daniel Bishop, who will be heading the Project for EXCELR8 said;
