EXCELR8 AGREES LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP WITH CHATSBROOK FINANCE
EXCELR8, the team behind the hugely successful Team VERTU programme in the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship has agreed a new long-term partnership with award-winning finance company Chatsbrook.
The new partnership, which got underway during the most recent round of the BTCC season at Thruxton, will cover the remainder of the 2026 season and the full 2027 campaign as EXCELR8 seeks to add to the list of titles it has secured in Britain’s premier racing series.
Having started trading in early 2017, Chatsbrook Finance is a fully independent business that provides a range of funding solutions, from vehicle finance for those people looking to upgrade their car right through to specialist asset finance to help support growth in businesses across a range of industries.
Chatsbrook branding will feature on one of EXCELR8’s front-running Hyundai i30 Fastback N cars during the partnership, with the business also utilising the team’s race weekend hospitality to host customers and potential clients.
The relationship will also provide Chatsbrook with the opportunity explore the first-class B2B and networking opportunities that exist within the BTCC paddock, going far beyond simply raising brand awareness and instead focusing on growing the business alongside one of the leading teams in British motorsport.
Whilst the relationship with EXCELR8 marks a new step into the motorsport arena, Chatsbrook already has links to the industry through its base at historic Ketteringham Hall, near Norwich.
The estate was once owned by legendary car designer Colin Chapman and housed the Lotus F1 team from 1976 through to 1994 – a period that included Mario Andretti’s title-winning campaign and which saw Lotus represented on track by the likes of Ayrton Senna, Nigel Mansell, Ronnie Peterson and Carlos Reutemann.
Keith Richardson, Head of Sales at Chatsbrook Finance, said:
“This partnership is a fantastic opportunity for Chatsbrook Finance, and we are delighted to be joining forces with EXCELR8. The team is a fantastic fit for Chatsbrook and we’re looking forward to building a strong partnership that reflects our shared commitment to performance, ambition and excellence.
“We’re excited to see what we can achieve together over the next 18 months, and to be represented by such a successful team, both in the BTCC and also in the MINI CHALLENGE.”
Justina Williams, EXCELR8 Team Owner, said:
“We’re thrilled to announce this new partnership with Chatsbrook Finance and are looking forward to working with such a forward-thinking business through the remainder of the season and beyond.
“The fact that this is a multi-year partnership provides us with an opportunity to develop a strong working relationship and we are confident that it will prove to be a success both on and off track.”
