EXCELR8 Motorsport has an exciting opportunity to join our MINI JCW team operation for the 2027 season. EXCELR8 Motorsport is an established race winning and Championship winning team.
To be considered for this role, you will need previous experience of a comparative role within motorsport or experience within a garage or dealership environment. You will need to have drive, determination and a can-do attitude to succeed in this role.
The role will require you to work on our MINI JCW race cars at the racetrack. You need to have a keen eye for detail and a dedicated work ethic.
Core Responsibilities:
Race Prep, Setup & Administration: Manage the upkeep, mechanical setup, and trackside running of high-performance JCW racing cars. Ensure that the cars are maintained to the highest standards of safety while checking that the car is fully compliant with the championship regulations. Reporting all damage to the Workshop or Team Manager and recording accurately.
Trackside Adjustments: Rapidly alter suspension settings, change dampers, adjust ride height, and replace tires or brake components between qualifiers and races.
Emergency Repairs: Perform fast-paced structural and mechanical rebuilds under strict time limits following track contact or crashes.
Data Collaboration: Monitor cars closely alongside race engineers collecting data and implement immediate driver feedback.
