EXCELR8 CONFIRMS NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH PERFECT CELLAR
EXCELR8 can today confirm an exciting new multi-year partnership with Perfect Cellar as the team heads into the final three events of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship season.
Droitwich-based EXCELR8 travels to Donington Park this weekend sitting top of the standings with 2022 title winner Tom Ingram, with strong support from Tom Chilton, Adam Morgan and Senna Proctor leaving the team – which competes this season under the Team VERTU banner – second in both the Manufacturers’ and Teams’ championships.
Going into round eight of the ten round season, EXCELR8 has strengthened its already impressive list of commercial partners by welcoming onboard Perfect Cellar – an online wine retailer that was founded back in 2020.
Headed by CEO Moez Seraly, Perfect Cellar was created with a single mission to provide everyone with access to the very best artisan wines from around the world. To enhance the experience, Perfect Cellar has developed an innovative AI app called CellarIQ, designed to make every customer feel like a sommelier, whether they’re just starting out or already passionate about wine
Perfect Cellar has secured multiple awards through the years, with the business being named as Best Small Online Retailer by Decanter and Seraly himself being named as Wine Marketplace CEO of the Year.
The new relationship with EXCELR8 will initially see Perfect Cellar branding feature on the car being raced this season by Tom Chilton for the events at Donington Park, Silverstone and Brands Hatch.
That will put the Perfect Cellar name front and centre for three of the biggest meetings on the BTCC calendar ahead of a full season together in 2026, with the retailer also set to benefit from the first class networking opportunities afforded by being involved with the race-winning outfit.
Moez Seraly, CEO & Founder, Perfect Cellar said:
“We’re thrilled to partner with EXCELR8, a team that shares our passion for excellence, precision, and pushing boundaries. Just like in motorsport, every detail matters in wine, and this partnership celebrates that shared commitment to performance and experience.
“Whether it’s on the track or at the table, we’re excited to bring energy, elegance, and a touch of celebration to every moment.”
Justina Williams, EXCELR8 Team Owner, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Perfect Cellar onboard for the remainder of the season and are looking forward to developing a long and successful relationship in the coming years. Although there are many differences between our respective industries, there are also a number of similarities – not least the drive and desire to be the very best in the field.
“Fingers crossed that we can celebrate the start of our partnership with a strong weekend on track this weekend at Donington Park.”
