Loosely based on the current generation MINI CHALLENGE JCW the Excelr8 24hr car is the world’s first F56 24hr car. Making its debut at the popular Silverstone 24hr race in April this car is the first of Excelr8’s multi car endurance program.
Endurance car specs:
- 345 HP 2L turbocharged MINI Engine
- 6 Speed sequential gearbox
- Alcon endurance brake package
- 120L fuel capacity
- Upgraded endurance aero package.
- Comparable with GT4 and TCR lap times.
The development of the project began in January 2016 and has taken the MINI CHALLENGE F56 base to new levels of performance and reliability. The 24hr MINI has been re designed by the Excelr8 team to withstand the toughest of punishment and maintain reliability and speed. It also includes added extras such as on board refillable drinks systems, upgraded engine and drivetrain packages, adjustable seat and quick adjust belts, sequential brake pressure lights, and many more elements that allow seamless driving and minimal driver fatigue.
The Excelr8 Endurance program is set to see three cars running in the 2018 Creventic 24H and TCES series as well as gearing up for movement into TCR spec cars. This will continue to run alongside Excer8s already successful 13 car JCW MINI CHALLENGE program.
The car is designed to run in the Creventic 24hr series and will be participating in the Barcelona 24hr, Spa 12hr and Circuit of Americas 24hr for the remainder of 2017. Get in touch for more details about driving opportunities.
